A few shots from Friday

Despite the sunshine is was quite chilly on the playground. I hate to think that boots and gloves and scarves are on the horizon.
Sun makes for great shadows though!

Another mom in class taking pictures!
 I love these two shots
she was actually running past me to another friend.
 Reading group time

What is better than seeing them swallowed up by a book. She was so into this book. It was really cute.
Then it was time for Star of the Week!
The poster fell on the mesmerized crowd.
The Star of the Week always ends with the complement circle. It is always fun to see them say such nice things about each other.
The flat Stanleys are done but I did not have enough battery to get a group shot...stay tuned for that:-) Here is a sneak peek at how cute they are!

Then it was time to line up to go home...
See you all next week.

The Mega Party

In addition to the Halloween party on Friday the kids also had the Mega Party to thank them for the PTO fundraising.  Did you know that the PTO also has a blog? If you want to see pictures from this party check out www.byronpto.blogspot.com

Halloween Party Stations (Post #3 and final)

Thank you soooooo much to all our parents that donated time and talent as well as tons of supplies to make the party happen. I could not have done it without you. One parent brought in pumpkins donated from the Northwoods orchard for the kids to draw faces on.
We had two parents running the vampire lollipop station. They turned out so cute.

We also had parents donate lots of stuff towards are snack station. Thank you to the two moms who ran this station too.
Mrs. Hansen was a guest at our party and enjoyed her time being one of the kids(can you tell?!?)

Blue lips were a common problem:-)

It was nice seeing everyone having so much fun.

I love pictures of people taking pictures(just an FYI)

A thank you to our 2 dads that ran the popcorn in a candy corn station.

I hope all your kids came home talking about what a great party it was.
It would not have been possible without all the great volunteers.

A visit from the Mad Scientist for the Halloween party (post #2 of the party)

We had a brave dad volunteer to be our Mad Scientist for a Halloween station. He did an amazing job with this station.
There was a science experiment using dried bones and blood...
Then a mystery box with brains, and eye balls, and other things found on the road(AKA...noodles, and eggs, and jello:-)

 Love these faces!!!

Mad Scientist meets a familiar face(his daughter)

 now that is a face!

A big thank you to our dad who did a fantastic job with this station.

Our last Halloween post will be coming soon.
