The Christmas Party

Finally! The sledding pictures

Mrs. Hansen had a sledding party for the class yesterday. These pictures are actually from before Christmas and not the party. How lucky are our kids to go to a school that lets them sled at recess! It is such a blessing and so fun to be there. If you can ever volunteer at lunch time to help you won't regret it.

All laughs at line up time!

The Blue Ribbon Award Ceremony at the Byron High School

Last Wednesday our kids were invited over to the High School to celebrate the high school receiving a Blue Ribbon Award. This is a very high achievement award. As I understand it there was only one high school to receive this award for this particular time period...and that was Byron.

We took our seats and waited for the speakers to tell us how special the Byron district is.

This is our entire district...all the students teachers and most of the staff.

Some day this award might belong to our kids.

The PTO sponsored these amazing shirts for each high school student and all staff members to say how proud we all are of our students.

Did you know the PTO has a blog too and there are probably more great pictures of your kids on there too?

There will be more pictures coming soon of the Christmas party and sledding. To make a long story short I have to wait for my memory card to make it back from Arizona...lucky card:-)
