Student Council elections

 Friday was the day for Student Council speeches

 Not only were all the speakers amazing...but the audience was incredible too

 Then it was time to vote

 hmmm.....so many good choices

 making the vote

The Globe Project

What do you get when you add a whole lot of liquid starch...

Pounds of paper scraps...

 lots of third grade hands...

 and of course, parent volunteers!

 well besides messy cracked hands...

 and smiles

 not to mention challenges(her globe would not stand despite long efforts of trying)

The day was a success

The globes look amazing. 

Another week gone by...

We ended our star of the week with a compliment circle. All the kids took turns telling our star all the great things about her. 

Out star gets to take her poster home to hang on her own wall at home.

A new star was chosen! We can't wait to see your poster.

Now time for the weekend homework.

There were lots of smiles for the short homework list.

Ending our first full week with Rocket Math

We ended our first full week of school today with some rocket math.

The kids partner up and practice around the room.

Then it was time to check for mail and head home.
