More from Friday

In addition to the Science Extravaganza they had their regular science class on Friday. They have been working in groups the last month and a half to produce presentations on the planets.
After they present them they open up the audience for comments(positive feedback that is!)

 Then it was time for "Star of the Week"

 and the compliment circle. Our kids are amazing at saying such nice things to each other.

I just wanted to share a few pictures from lunch recess too
Playing kickball with the second graders
I am still working on getting all the speeches uploaded. Keep checking the older posts as I am adding them to the same post as I have them processed and uploaded. It has been a learning experience for me.

Have a great weekend!

Science Extravaganza{ Meteorites and Programing}

 Friday was another Science Extravaganza.
We are so blessed to have the people who run this program for our kids.
 Station one was all about programing and how robots moved to take pictures from space.

 Station 2 taught about Meteorites. It taught about speed, mass and angles effecting how hard they hit the earth.

 The drop...
 The plop!

 Thanks to all the parents who volunteer to run these stations for so many classes.
